My name is Jacob Jurewicz. I also go by Jake.
I am a multi-instrumentalist – Guitar, Saxophone and Voice.
I am a professional musician who performs both as a solo artist and as a key member of several bands in Buffalo, New York. I am the lead guitarist of TAiSTE the Band, an Alternative Soul group. I’m also the lead guitarist and saxophonist of Poesy Shines, a poetic music ensemble.

I am also a full-time audio engineer.
Since 2021, I have worked as an Associate Engineer for Mark Custom Recording Service, Inc. Based in Clarence, New York, “Mark Custom” is a company recognized across the world for excellence creating on-site band, orchestral and choral recordings. I am the primary mastering engineer for the company as well as an on-site recording engineer.
I am also a live-sound engineer. I have mixed many different styles of music, including rock, jazz, funk, blues, R&B, hip-hop, singer/songwriter, classical, bluegrass, country, Americana, metal, pop and more. I’ve also provided live-sound reinforcement for a plethora of music events in Buffalo hosted by arts community organizations such as The Arts Collaborative, BBYG, Operation Infinity, Sun Will Rise and Underground Noize.

I am also a Toastmaster. I am a member of Say it LOUD Toastmasters club in Buffalo, NY. I am the Vice President Education of this club.

On May 2, 2020, I graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio – earning a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Technology. I studied jazz/contemporary guitar at the Guitar Studio in the Capital University Conservatory of Music, under the direction of Stan Smith.
